GramInn Non-Profit Organization conducted an Evening Community Talk with Senior Citizens at Ward 12, Karimamkunnu, on 15 September 2026, creating a welcoming space for senior citizens to come together, interact, and share their experiences.
A total of 22 participants attended the programme. The evening provided an opportunity for participants to engage in meaningful conversations and spend time together in a friendly and supportive atmosphere. The participants expressed their happiness and appreciation for the initiative.
As part of the programme, a Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7 (GAD-7) screening was conducted to promote awareness of mental well-being and encourage participants to pay attention to their emotional health. The activity also provided an opportunity to identify concerns that may require further support.
The programme was facilitated by interns from Alphonsa College, Bathery, with the support of Ms. Chandana, Programme Coordinator, GramInn, and Mr. Minhaj, Volunteer.
The positive participation and cheerful response from the senior citizens reflected the value of creating regular opportunities for social interaction, emotional support, and community connection.
