Carrying Dreams Forward: School Kits for Unnathi Students in Tholpetty

On 31 May 2026, in the serene village of Tholpetty, GRAMINN Charitable Trust, in partnership with the Excise Department, Wayanad, organized a school kit distribution programme for children under the Unnathi project in Kakari, Tholpetty.

The programme was inaugurated by Mr. Sajith Chandran, Assistant Excise Commissioner, who highlighted the importance of supporting children’s education and encouraging them to pursue their dreams with confidence and determination.

Ms. Reena Varghese, Director of GRAMINN Charitable Trust, delivered an inspiring message, emphasizing the transformative power of education and the collective responsibility of society to nurture and empower young minds.

The Excise Department team and members of GRAMINN Charitable Trust cordially distributed school kits to the children. The event was filled with joy as the smiling faces of the students reflected their excitement and gratitude. Each school bag symbolized not only educational support but also hope, encouragement, and the promise of a brighter future.

Set against the lush greenery and natural beauty of Tholpetty, the programme created a memorable and meaningful experience for everyone involved. It was truly a good day—one that celebrated community partnership, educational empowerment, and the happiness of children.

GRAMINN Charitable Trust extends its sincere appreciation to the Excise Department, Wayanad, for their valuable collaboration and support in making this initiative a success. Together, we continue to invest in the dreams of children and build pathways toward a better tomorrow.
