Graminn Charitable Trust successfully organized a Mental Health Awareness Session for Women on 31 May 2026 at Kundala, Ward 1, Panamaram Grama Panchayat. The programme brought together 17 women from the community for an enriching and empowering session focused on emotional well-being, self-awareness, and healthy coping practices.
The awareness session explored important topics related to mental health, emotions, stress, and effective coping mechanisms. Through interactive discussions and experience-sharing activities, participants actively engaged in meaningful conversations about their daily challenges, personal stressors, emotional experiences, and the strategies they currently use to manage stress.
The open and supportive atmosphere encouraged participants to speak freely, fostering a sense of trust, connection, and mutual understanding. The exchange of personal experiences highlighted the importance of seeking support, practicing self-care, and recognizing mental health as an essential part of overall well-being.
Following the awareness and interaction session, a guided meditation exercise was conducted to help participants experience relaxation and mindfulness. The meditation provided practical techniques that can be incorporated into everyday life to reduce stress, improve emotional balance, and promote inner calm.
The programme concluded on a positive and inspiring note, with participants expressing appreciation for the opportunity to learn, reflect, and connect with one another. The session served as a valuable reminder that mental wellness flourishes when awareness, empathy, and community support come together.
