GramInn Non-Profit Organization conducted an Awareness Session on Women’s Rights and Education at Ward 11, Vadochal, on 20 September 2026, focusing on the importance of education for girls and creating greater awareness about women’s rights.

A total of 14 participants attended the programme and actively engaged in the discussions. The session highlighted how education can contribute to the confidence, independence, and overall development of girls and women. Participants were encouraged to recognize education as an important pathway towards greater opportunities and informed decision-making.

The awareness session also focused on women’s rights and the importance of creating a positive learning environment at home. Discussions emphasized the role of families in encouraging girls to continue their education, providing emotional support, and creating a safe and supportive atmosphere where children can learn, grow, and express themselves freely.

The programme was conducted by Ms. Amrutha, Mr. Shinto, Mr. Sobin, Mr. Aswin KC, and Mr. Aswin KS, interns from Alphonsa College, Sulthan Bathery. Through interactive discussions and awareness activities, the interns encouraged participants to reflect on the role of education and family support in promoting equality and empowerment.

The session provided a meaningful platform for community members to discuss issues related to girls’ education, women’s rights, and supportive family environments. GramInn continues to promote community-based awareness initiatives that contribute to building an informed, inclusive, and empowered society.
