GramInn organized and facilitated a five-day rural immersion camp for students of Don Bosco College, Mampetta, at Kattikulam in Mananthavady From 14 to 18 September 2026, . Designed as a hands-on learning experience, the camp brought together students, faculty, and community members for a week of fieldwork, dialogue, and collaborative planning centered on rural development and social inclusion. The camp concluded with a closing forum where student teams presented their findings and proposed initiatives to faculty and community stakeholders. GramInn will support the preparation of a consolidated needs-assessment report and help coordinate next steps for pilot projects that align with community priorities. For students, the experience reinforced core social-work competencies—ethical field practice, participatory methods, and collaborative planning—while deepening their understanding of rural and tribal contexts in Wayanad.
