GramInn’s “A Bag Full of Hope” Reaches Students Across Panamaram Panchayat

On 20 May 2026, GramInn, in collaboration with the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Wayanad and the Motor Vehicles Department (MVD) Wayanad, distributed school materials to 125 deserving students across all 24 wards of Panamaram Grama Panchayat under the initiative “A Bag Full of Hope.”
The campaign was formally flagged off by Ms. Anitha R, Secretary of DLSA Wayanad and Civil Judge (Senior Division), along with Mr. Sumesh P. R., RTO Wayanad, and Ms. Reena Varghese, Director of GramInn. Two vehicles loaded with books, stationery and essential school supplies dubbed the “Vagan of Hope” visited neighborhoods across the panchayat to hand the kits directly to students and families at their doorsteps.
“The goal was to ensure students receive the tools they need for the coming academic year and to bring a moment of encouragement to their homes,” said Reena Varghese. The outreach prioritized the most needy students, helping reduce barriers to schooling and reinforcing community support for education.
Representatives from DLSA and the MVD joined GramInn volunteers in the door-to-door distribution, which created widespread enthusiasm and relief among recipients. In total, 125 school kits were handed out, bringing smiles and renewed hope to students across Panamaram.
