Mental Health Awareness Session for Women at Cherukaattoor Ward 4

On 24/05/2026 GramInn⁠ successfully conducted a Mental Health Awareness Session for women belonging to Neighborhood Groups (NHGs) at Cherukaattoor Ward 4. Four NHG groups participated in the programme, with a total of 15 women actively attending the session.

The programme was welcomed by Ms. Reena Varghese, Director of GramInn, who introduced the session and highlighted the importance of mental well-being and community support for women.

The session was led by Ms. Shedha, Ms. Shifa Nazrin, and Ms. Chandhana S, who facilitated the programme through interactive discussions and engaging activities. Topics including mental health, anxiety, depression, stress management, and emotional self-care were discussed in a meaningful and informative manner. Meditation and relaxation activities were also conducted to help participants understand healthy coping strategies and the importance of self-care in everyday life. The women actively participated in the discussions, shared their experiences, and reflected on the need for emotional support within the community.

The session was highly interactive and impactful, creating a safe and supportive space for women to learn, connect, and grow together. Through such initiatives, GramInn⁠ continues its commitment towards promoting mental health awareness and strengthening community well-being.
