GramInn Non-Profit Charitable Trust organized a specialized Vaikunerathe Samsaram (evening talk) session for senior citizens on 21st March, 2026 as part of its flagship initiative, Project HEAL. The event, held in the 6th ward of Panamaram Grama Panchayat, focused on elder care and well-being—a core pillar of the organization’s community action plan. The programme saw an active turnout of approximately 40 elderly residents. Designed as a supportive platform for social inclusion, the session allowed participants to share life experiences, discuss current living conditions, and voice their aspirations and concerns. The atmosphere was notably interactive, fostered by the participation of MSW student volunteers who led group activities and games. These sessions were designed to boost engagement and bring a sense of joy and belonging to the attendees. A spokesperson for GramInn stated that the initiative reaffirms the trust’s commitment to the dignity and holistic development of the elderly. By creating community-based spaces for expression, Project HEAL aims to bridge the gap in social support for senior citizens in the region. The event concluded with participants expressing a strong sense of mutual understanding, marking another successful milestone for GramInn’s dedicated elder care outreach.
