As part of its ongoing commitment to community well-being and women’s empowerment, the Graminn Team successfully conducted a Mental Health Awareness Session for Working Women at Ammani, Ward 7, on 14 June 2026. The programme witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 21 women, creating a vibrant platform for learning, reflection, and mutual support.
The session focused on the significance of maintaining good mental health, with special emphasis on understanding stress and anxiety, their impact on daily life, and the importance of early recognition and management. Participants actively engaged in meaningful discussions on emotional well-being, work-life balance, and self-care practices.
The session was facilitated by Ms. Chandana, Project Coordinator, along with Ms. Aleena T.J., Student Volunteer, who guided the participants through informative discussions and practical stress-relief techniques. Interactive activities and relaxation exercises were conducted to help women identify healthy coping mechanisms and strengthen their emotional resilience.
The programme concluded on a positive note, with participants expressing their appreciation for the insightful session and the practical strategies shared. The initiative not only enhanced awareness about mental health but also encouraged women to prioritize their emotional well-being and support one another in creating healthier, happier communities.
