GramInn Non-Profit Organization conducted an Evening Talk with Senior Citizens at 5th Mile, Kellur, Ward 24, on 9 September 2026, providing a welcoming platform for senior citizens to come together, interact, and share their experiences.

A total of 19 senior citizens participated in the programme. The evening encouraged meaningful interaction and social engagement, creating a friendly and supportive atmosphere for the participants.

The programme was facilitated by interns from Alphonsa College, Sulthan Bathery, with the support of Ms. Karthika and Ms. Chandana, staff members of GramInn. The facilitators encouraged participants to actively engage in the discussions and emphasized the importance of social connection and emotional well-being in later life.

As part of the programme, a Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7 (GAD-7) screening was conducted to promote awareness of mental health and encourage participants to reflect on their emotional well-being.

The programme provided an opportunity for senior citizens to spend time together in a positive and supportive environment. Through such community-based initiatives, GramInn continues to promote social inclusion, emotional well-being, and meaningful community participation among senior citizens.
